Manik M Jolly is founder and CEO of GRID (Grassroots and Rural Innovative Development) Pvt Ltd. Previously he has worked with SunEdison, World Bank, Deloitte etc with a focus on Energy access in South and SE Asia. He was awarded Echoing Green Fellowship in 2015, REX fellowship in 2016 and WWF (UK) Global Green Game Changer recognition in 2013. As consultant, speaker and trainer with UN, IFC, World Bank, Ministries of Power and Renewable Energy in India, ADB, ARE, ISEA etc, he has worked extensively on energy access in rural areas, creating Solar Micro grid based solutions. He has created various pilots across the country in different models and his recent pilot of Solar Micro grids based RO-UV filtration system can provide 10 liters of water to villagers in under 3 US cents. He was regional Co author for Global Status report in 2015 by REN 21, Paris. Presently he heads GRID, which aims at creating clean energy and clean water solutions for rural areas. A twice decorated military veteran from Indian Army, he is an alumni of NDA, Pune and MDI, Gurgaon, India."

Siddhartha is an award winning investigative journalist, and has around 17 years of experience in the
communications industry. In all these years, he has worked as a journalist and as a public affairs
specialist, primarily on public health issues and the not-for-profit sector.
He has experience working within national and state politics, the government, think tanks, public interest
groups in the field of corporate public policy, familiarity with policy environments that surround them, and an
understanding of how to work with key stakeholders and influencer groups to promote evidence based
His role involves strategic planning – contributing to the development of long-term plans, while creating and
executing short term plans to achieve goals in coordination with program and advocacy.
Prachi Jayawant Moghe
Manager- Impact Solutions
Prachi has an extensive experience in the field of research in development planning. She has worked in the fields like urban healthcare and rural livelihood generation. She has served as a project coordinator and research assistant at Tata Centre for Technology & Design, IIT Bombay and Centre for Urban Science & Engineering, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She specializes in the fields of needs assessment, social impact assessments and feasibility studies. She holds an M.Phil degree in Planning & Development from department of Humanities & Social Sciences, IIT Bombay and has published various articles on different subjects ranging from Green Economy to History of Philosophy. She is passionate about sustainability management and inter-disciplinary work especially in development sector.
Manager- Innovative Solutions
Dhriti is an expert in designing, analysing and implementing various innovative solar projects in micro-grids for rural areas. She has been associated with the premier Solar Energy Institution of the country - the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). She earned accolades during her tenure at Indosolar - a solar cell manufacturing company, Greater Noida, for her project initiatives. Besides the deep understanding of solar energy inputs in urban areas, she has done extensive feasibility projects in solar energy in areas of Badi-Sid, Distt. Bikaner, Rajasthan. She also has rich field-experience in energy development & utilisation at DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation), as per their evolving requirements. Dhriti holds an M. Tech degree in Renewable Energy Engineering & Management with distinction, from the TERI University -- a top-ranked Institution of India in the field of Renewable Energies. In addition to the academic and professional acumen, Dhriti has to her credit publications in the field of Renewable Energy. Her Paper on "Effect of Partial Shading on Characteristics of PV Panel using Simscape" was appreciably recognized and published in the International Journal of Engineering Research and Applications.
Varun K. Duggal
Varun is an Electrical Engineering student, pursuing his degree at Georgia Institute of Technology. As an engineer aspiring to positively impact the field of rural electrification Varun has been involved with designing and implementing various solar home systems and microgrids for remote areas. He is currently heading the design team for the IEEE PES Haiti Microgrid project, and is involved with the design of a novel solar home system at the Center for Distributed energy at Georgia Institute of Technology. He also has previous experience with industrial energy efficiency research at the Bosch Energy Research Network, and solar EPC work at Sterling and Wilson. He has also held the position of Electrical team lead for the Georgia Tech Solar Home team, and is a member of the HKN Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society.
